Corvette or Opel?

so i was reading a corvette magazine waiting at the mall for my girlfriend and i was just flipping through the pages and something looked strange for a corvette and thats when it hit me, thats not a corvette that is an opel! It looked so similar that the photographer even thought it was a corvette.

I think it's a "poor man's Opel"...just ask anyone who has rebuild a 1.9L vs a 350 Chevy.

You may want to do a search on the Pontiac XP-833 to see where the rich kids' Opel came from. The XP-833 was an early 60's concept for the Pontiac Banshee by John DeLorean based on the GT design out of Germany.
