My OPEL GT films / Action from Germany
here's a link to a short film I just made about out 2007 slalom race. Check out my other videos to see three more films about GT & classic cars. For our big event in Stuttgart (check my thread in the event-forum) I'll produce a DVD collectors box packed with everything I can organize surrounding our little racer from '68 to today. Nice video - well done! Just curious - what method did you use to mount the camera over the driver's shoulder for the in-car shots? The camera seemed to remain quite stable whatever method you used.

I just left the camera on the tripod/camerastand. There's just enough room to put it there in the lowest position. I used the passenger seat and my heavy tool bag to sort of squeeze it in. Driving 'as usual' then is no problem (see also my CLASSIC CAR DEMONSTRATION video), for the faster go-around I drove almost single handed and used the right hand to keep it from falling to the side.

Hello Mike,
A big hello from Belgium. I will just say one thing : **S-U-P-E-R-B** ! The yellow GT at 3min 10 looked really modified at the suspension level. Do you know what was done on this GT ? Thanks a lot for sharing this nice video, Bye Torito |

well I'd say at least half of those cars are lowered...
But the yellow one is great. just great. and has power too! pretty much flawless, one of the best and next to the silver/red one (priceless) the best of the day.

That was a very nice little production there! I quite enjoyed the soundtrack, too. People were definitely having some good fun there.
Question: if one had a somewhat similar (but much faster and in real heavy traffic) racing video tape taken from an in-GT camera, how could he share it with the world? Given that this person is not at all a computer whiz, that is...
