Actually, as most of us know the Stingray Corvette and the Opel GT were designed by the same person on the design team, Chuck Jordan. He was an invited guest at the OMC fest two years ago and gave all attendees a great insight on how both were designed. His personal favorite was of course the GT, and it was designed before the Corvette. An interesting anecdote was, the Corvette project name was Opel. So our beloved GTs are not mini-vettes, although that is the general consensus, but the Corvettes are: "Opel GTs on steroids"
