Opel (was) on TV
I know there are a few out there that remember a series of movies starring George Peppard as a insurance investigator, or "restorations" as he put it. The series of movies was called "Banacek" Well the entire series of movies has been released on DVD and last weekend I bought the box set. While watching the pilot episode, and given the time frame as to when these were made, there's the possibility of an Opel or two popping up. Well there is. I took this from the opening credits, and you can see the blue Kadett B sitting on the street corner.

Yes Sir, has been discussed in a thread or two. The "new" Get Smart movie has a GT in it driven by Bernie Koppel (used to be head of KAOS)

Cool.
I wouldn't have started a thread about it and, honeslty, I haven't read all the threads here.

I've seen a few GTs on TV but it was so long ago and my memory for things like that isn't good.
