Opels in several recent publications

We must be making an impact this month. There was a big story in a newspaper publication called Old Cars Weekly News & Marketplace about the Kadetts from 68-71 and showed a couple of factory pictures. Pretty good story, a litttle off, butglad to see it. This was in the June 4th issue. Then a follow up in the July 2nd issue called "Recalling Kadetts" where a guy talks about his history with Kadetts, and the last one he saw at a car show...a 69 low mileage sport coupe white with black vinyl top and an automatic at a mid-Michigan fairgrounds. What is funny the guy I bought that car from had took it to one car show, at a fairgrounds in Michigan. Small world.

Also 2 Opel GTs in the recent Goodguys magazine either July or August, forget which month

Keith

The two in Goodguys:

I was going to post these mag photos yesterday but ran out of time.
New August issue Goodguys Goodtimes Gazette.
Colorado Nationals Loveland, Blue GT. Matt Wagner owner.
Pleasanton, Ca, red/orange GT, no info given but says "Bill Ward Racing" on side.

I also entered my '63 Tbird in all three days at the Heartland Nationals Goodguys here in Des Moines and came across a GT converted to a SB Ford
351. The owner says he drives it all over including trips. I told him about us
and also about the Opel gathering at Springfield RT66 coming up. It was fairly nice but not a show car by any stretch.
