256 Miles Per Hr. in a GT

I saw this Opel GT a few months ago at the local GoodGuys get together. I didn't know the history until this week.

There is an article about this GT which broke some records at the Bonneville Flats. "Driving 256 miles per hour at Bonneville is exciting...Over 240 MPH the car gets a little light and wants to float off the ground."

The article is about the Opel GT that John Paxson owns which he bought from Bill Ward and can be found on page 12 here.
