Yeah, that's been there for awhile. They get some interesting cars, but usually want way more than they are worth.

Note the GM styling influence, looks like a 53-54 Chevrolet about 3/4 size. If you open the hood the engine looks like an old 216Cu Inch Chevrolet with two holes cut off. Really an antiquated design, but someone will think it is a work of art and scoop it up, hopefully.

Unfortunately, no! Bought and traded for lots of little parts needed for restoration thus far, but really have had no time for it yet. Don't like that any more than anyone else.

I live in Germany [lucky me!] and have seen a few cars similar to this one. Classic car culture is not nearly as widespread over here, but clubs do exist, as well as the isolated old-car owner here and there. I've seen two of these in the area [near Kaiserslautern if that means anything to anyone] in excellent condition, as well as a 1958 Kapitan in car-show condition [dead ringer styling-wise for the '55 Pontiac I have back home] and, my favorite, a 1969 Admiral sedan with the V-8! I spotted it at an Esso station, and asked the owner, a young guy in his early 20s, if he would sell it--he said never! Not that I blame him; I'd never seen one before, and while the American styling influence is still apparent, the rectangular headlights, etc make it look far more 'modern' than any other GM '69 model. The most surprising, though, was a pre-war coupe that a farmer up the road owns [I think]; it is also in excellent condition, but I have no idea which model it is. It's very upright, like a Model A, but much smaller; the wheels are spoked like a Model T. Opel has a plant in Kaiserslautern, so it's like living near Detroit; I'm always seeing cool, unusual Opels like Speedsters and the new 'Erdgas' {natural gas} powered minivans and cars cruising around.
