Here ya go:
1978 Opel / Isuzu coupe I have one just like it and it's actually a lot of fun. I grew up cursing these "fake" Opels but it really feels more like an Opel than an Isuzu. I planned to implant a real Opel engine and tranny but the original engine works well enough and gets 30 mpg, so I'm running all original for now. -Kurt |

It's the same model as the Kadett C Coupé, only it has different head lights, tail lights and bumpers

But with the interior gone, and a proper drivetrain and suspension set-up, it will be a great rally car.
The one on ebay is a bit far (KS), and looks like it has a little too much cancer for my tastes, but I've inquired. |

It's a little farther than Kansas, but...
eBay Australia: GEMINI TX COUPE ONE OWNER 76000. KMS (item 130082505918, end time 26-Feb-07 19:18:39 AEDST) I know a guy that imports container loads from Australia to Fla.

Not for now, thank you.
I bought it last spring with 34,000 original miles and a ton of problems from sitting in storage. After re-doing the brakes, cleaning 3 inches of sludge out of the oil pan and doing a POR-50 treatment on the gas tank, I've put over 6000 miles on it, mostly trouble free. The Chevy Luv /Isuzu P'up drivetrain is, well, interesting. If I decide to let it go I'll let you know. It's the most rust-free one I've seen; they were horribly rust-prone, that's why they've disappeared. -Kurt |
