Unanswered: New toy
My wagon is two-tone, white over this same color blue-green, and I really like that look, so that'll probably be the direction I go with this one.

It looks to have a 6 volt system Stephen, so the wiring should handle a 12 volt upgrade easily. Looks to be in fair shape too.

Nice score!!!! Is this the one I pointed out last night? Or is the evil-bay one?
Either way, looks real decent. Good luck! Joe

Too true Bob, and both Eastwood and POR-15 are happy about it too.

Delivered
So in completely un-oldopelguy-ish fashion, the Olympia was delivered late Tuesday evening. Thought I would pass along some more pics. Interior is almost perfect, looks like the carpet is the only rough part and it should clean up and be servicable.

The bad
The car has been repainted at least once, and there is some rust along the rockers and above the driver's side headlight. Should be savable, but not as pristine as the seller would have had me believe.

overall
I went ahead and pulled the completely dry-rotted mis-matched tires on 13x4" rims off and tossed on a set of the BMW turbines like the Kadett 4-door has. Slot mags would be even better, but these will do for now.

Olympia
Looks great, when are you going to come after the odd ball 69 Olympia with sunroof I found? Yes I did say 1969!!!!! I know where it is
![]() Keith Also Stephen I emailed you on that light assembly-obviously a bumper light. Also did you match up that paper out of the Kadett seat to the VIN? Keith

Damn it Keith, you shouldn't tempt me eith a sunroof Olympia. You know I'm a sucker for sunroofs.
The VIN does match, but I'm not sure about the rest fo the details. Take a look yourself and see what you can make of it:

If you are talking my 4 lug ones, probably so. But I also have a set of 5 lugs that came off of the v8 opel before we redid it. I'll probably have you beat there.... had a pair of slicks on it.

No way
I think Cragar SS rims are second only to Keystone classics as the most aweful rims to go on any car, ever. They are also very "60's/70's and not the right look for something curvy. No thanks.
Slot mags are the hot ticket for anything 50's, and if you can't find slot mags you go with steelies and baby moons or full moons. Those are pretty much the only options for doing it right.
