Tough Little Motors
Most people here would have the German Opels which are quite different to the Isuzus - Buick just called them "Opels" to cash in on the popularity of the earlier cars from Germany.
However I have Isuzus as well as "real" Opels - later model Isuzu Impulses which have a similar SOHC motor to the 1979 model you are looking at. they have nice tough motors and some spares can still be found. Not many of the model you are looking at left around anymore though - have a look at the "IsuzuPerformance" web site - if it is still up and running.
