Unanswered: weber 32/34 dmtl

I have a question about weber carbs, I have a weber 32/34 dmtl, which I would like to fit to my Vectra A (cavalier in the UK) 1800, (1992 model, sorry it's not a classic opel...YET!) to replace the pierburg, does anyone know exactly what I need to fit it? Just remembered the weber was from an Opel Manta

Thanks Clint

hi and welcome from sunny sunderland
only know the pierburg on fords but if its anything like them you will need to make an adapter as the pierburg was 3 bolt right through from the top and the weber's are normaly 4 bolt if it works ok let us know as we will end up with a plage of requests to find them as they are bigger than the webers that normaly get used
where abouts are you in surrey btw

Weber 32/34 for 1.8 Cavalier (Vectra A)

Does any one know exactly what I need to fit a weber 32/34 dmtl carb to my 1992 (k reg) Cavalier 1.8 engine (Vectra A). I have the carb, just need to know the bits and pieces that go on the manifold.

Thanks
Clint

First, Moderators frown on duplicate threads . So I merged this latest thread with your previous thread.

Second, this model is not very well supported on this web site, as we are mainly "classic" Opels (pre-1976) that were imported into North America. And few (if any) of us have ever seen a Vectra (except disguised as a Saturn "L Series in later years, and unsuccessfully at that). A few of our International members (as in OpelJim in New Zealand) might have. So I had already moved the previous thread to the "Other Models" Forum.

Third, it is almost certain that none of us have ever seen a Weber 32/34 DMTL.

Sorry, but that's the best I can do.
