Water Pump/Alternator belt

I need a new belt and I think I tossed the old torn up one away when I took it off. The one Napa sold me is too short and I was wondering if anyone knew the proper length for a 70 1.9L in a GT.

Thanks

Dan

My '70 takes a 9.5mm width, 8.0mm deep and 925mm long. I think they are the same for all years.

Post BOSCH belt

Greetings from Italy!

My 1970 GT 1.9 has a trapeze section belt mounted

these are the codes written on the belt:

BOSCH 7639 AVX 10x925 La250 (written in red)
A 621 0297 (written in green)

I hope this codes could be useful

I have a problem too: I'm searching for the crankshaft pulley.
Can you help me?

Just put a new belt in the gt monday when my waterpump went out. Use the codes scarpash gave or try and fish the old one out of the trash. Its not a rare item, I was able to find a place in my town with them instock (amazing for my town!).

As for the pulley OGTS has them and so does opels unlimited last time I checked. Or you can call TGSI and get a set of 'power' pulleys.
