Pop-out Window Rubbers for Kadett

If anyone is seeking new (old new) rubber seals for the Kadett B rear pop out windows I found the rubber from a Type 2 Honda Civic (80-83) fits into the flange perfectly. They have to be cut to length but its a great easy solution.

Also a company called Reprotec in Germany are reproducing them, with the chrome hindge. Very nice products. Usually on German Ebay

The rubber I am describing is the total window surround that the edge of the glass presses against not the actual hinge insert rubber.

Another titbit I found is for the plastic console insert for the automatic transmission housing in the car. PRNDSL

In a pinch you can find an early automatic Monza. The shifter lens is longer and wider but with a bit of creative grinding and sanding you will have a lens that will be about 90% as good as an original.
