Replacement items

My wife and I were visiting her parents this past weekend and my father in-law owns a couple of VW bugs. To finish my Opel GT and get it on the road I need among other things a set of seatbelts, and new headlights. So I borrowed some from one of his bugs that is not ready for the road yet. Anyway I found that the seat belts fits very nicely, and the headlights not only fit, but the metal bracket that the light attaches to is identical to the opels.

I didn't see one, but I think it wight be a good idea to have a replacement forum to post items that are a direct bolt up replacement for opels.

A very good idea. As long as it has a way of verification with other members, it couldn't hurt to have that kind of info.
