What is a good after market oil cap that fits onto a GT valve cover? Polished aluminum would look good or maybe even black to contrast with the polished cover. The one I have that's in good shape says "oil" on it in German and looks nice, but it's a bit hard on the valve cover. The steel fins...

First let me say I consider this a temporary solution since brakes are important and a sealed master cylinder is important to keep moisture out but when in pinch.....the threads in my master cylinder cap fell apart, I grabbed the closest thing, a bottle of WeedBGone, big ugly yellow safety type...

I found that the VW bug, and bus carb is the same as the Opel. So you can go to a VW shop and get a Webber without ordering one and paying shipping. I can get a good working used one at a local shop for for $50.00.

I usually use a Fram PH966B for my GT but while cleaning out a box of parts came across a Fram PH3614 and a PH 3387A. They both look to be the same as the PH966B. Anybody know fit these will work or how they may differ from the PH966B?
