Unanswered: Opel Record brakes on a GT?

Gents,

I have my GT stored at my parents place A LONG way from where I am now,and maybe some of you can help me with this since I can't see for myself..

I have a Opel Rekord,2.2 i,1987 mod. and I am planning to put this engine in my GT.

My question is; can I take the (front) brakes from the rekord to my gt as well,or doesn't they fit?

Thanks for any answers!

Rekord Brakes

The Rekord 2.2i brakes will work on a GT. I have the same calipers and vented front rotors on my Manta A. You will need the same wheels on the the front brakes as are now on your Rekord.

Good luck.

The point is, you need wheels with at least 14" diameter. The original 13" GT wheels will not fit over the larger calipers.
