Unanswered: Where to buy coilovers ?

I am about to bye coilovers for my Manta and are churching for
decent shocks that doesen´t cost a million bucks !

I have looked at GAS, has anybody any experiece of them ?

As I have a friend that can take parts from US without any

Gas is a harder ride and unfortunately all we can find over here.

Actually Tom, 'GAS' is a brand of dampers (shocks) available in Europe.

What is your budget? We have many choices, but the price range is huge of course. The 'ProShocks' I showed a picture of cost $140 each (about 1130 Krona), then the coil-over kits were another $35 (282 Krona), and the springs another $40 each (322 Krona). So they were quite inexpensive for coilover shocks.

Of course my racing Manta will have Ohlins with remote reservoirs...about $3800 for the set of four (30,635 Krona). Big range!

I am sorry to confuse you, the brand of the shocks are spelled GAZ,
and now I see that they are UK made and not US.
There are a retailer in Sweden so I better buy them here.

http://www.gaz-shocks.co.uk/

Bob:
The price of the pro-shocks are similar to GAZ, mabe a little more
expensive. (what a service...prices in SEK, thank you !)

Yes ! I want Öhlins too but they are way out of my budget right now

I found this thread using search, and am also wondering if anyone has any first-hand experience with GAZ GT shocks on a lowered car. I always see ads for GAZ in Retro Car, but haven't heard from anyone who's used their parts.
