These people are redoing their website. but you still can email them to:
mail@cosmo-graphics.com

their website is cosmo-graphics.com

At their old site you had to send them a jpeg of what you wanted with the L-H, also if there is a font and color.

They will probably make as many as you want.

I post this stuff so yall can have it. Its a PDF which can be taken to pretty much any graphic studio and be put on a t-shirt, sticker, magnet, etc. I post all kinds of stuff so everyone can have what they want.

JPEG is a pixel based format. These would be done best in a die cut or laser cut vinyl format which is best suited as a PDF, EPS, or AI format which is a vector format.

Just to let everyone know, this is DEFINITELY in the works. There's a member, here in GA, that works in vinyl graphics that Tony and he are going to work on it. We're also looking into different colors, per Bob's suggestion and different sizes. Stay tuned!!

Opel Decals

Tony as I mentioned today all I need is an AI file or EPS file...I will go ahead and cut some of the designs for approval and then offer them up to the Opel Community...we can do about any color...size, as well as types of materials...will talk about that later...there's some pretty cool vinyl stuff available...email me the files scgoines@alltel.net and I will start them this week...jpeg's are OK but prefer AI, EPS for better quality...Thanks, SteveG

OK;
Just to show ya'll that this is actually happening, here are a few "teasers" The first picture is Tony's original idea, the second is a few tweeks by Steve. As you will notice, there's two sizes, but, Steve wants to see what else can be done, and as far as colors, Steve says he can do anything. So, what do ya'll think so far?

I'm liking "Tony's original idea". The first picture.

Excellent! I'd like the bottom one in the second picture in a high quality white vinyl approximately 6" long and say 2" high. Where do I send my payment?

Matt

Question: Can the inside parts be cut out and/or the decal cut around the exterior shape (as opposed to having a solid rectangle)? See the BMW sample here...

Folks, what you are looking at in posts #130 is actual computor cut decals we did as Gene said as "teasers" the larger one is about 6" long & the smaller is about 4" long...the small one is almost as small as we can go with the small copy

I liked Phoenix's design the best also...I just played around with it some..let me know what ya think..

I think we need to decide on prices and start printing... Just to let everyone know, that proceeds from the sale of the stickers is to go to Gary to keep the site what it is and more, not to mention spreading the word about the site.

I'd prefer the 6" size but like all of the designs. Having the Opel Blitz is a nice
touch.

I will definitely be buying one.

Also if you guys want to DIY some "sticky" logos for just about anything (not actual cars though it would leave residue) just print out that logo, put clear packing tape over the text and in hotish water, rub the paper off of the tape. The ink sticks to the tape and won't smear and is still relatively sticky. I'd take some pictures but my camera is eluding me at the moment.

For any non window surfaces it's perfect.

Ditto on that. I like the blue one on the bottom best.

Same here. I'd like one in white and one in yellow. Let me know where to send payment.

OK;
Just to keep everyone up to date, stickers will be printed next week. I will help Gary out by sending out the initial batch, then Gary will take over and send out as they are needed.

So, will there be one available in the 6" size like the BMW decal with just white vinyl (no blue outline) and cut so that it is in the outline shape of the letters with the inside of the letters clear? I still like the bottom one in the second picture.

Thanks,

Matt

Matt, I am going to start cutting some decals Monday, gonna be doing several colors...2 sizes 6" & 4"...to answer your question, the inside of the letters will shown the color of the background you place it on...window, car color whatever...what you see in the pics Gene posted is the vinyl lettering still on the base paper...they will come with a transfer release tape on the front...peel the base paper off then stick on vehicle...squeegee the decal a little, then peel off the transfer tape...Done

I can post some pics on how it's done if need be

I'm with you now Steve - thanks! That is perfect! I'm in for white letters - will probably buy both a 4" and 6" and then decide which I like on the car and use the other one someplace else (in case you are trying to get a count).

Thanks,

Matt

I think what we have decided to do is offer a 6" one & a 4" one to everyone (same color) for one price...I think Gene is going to handle the first round...colors will be white, yellow, orange, black, blue...don't know if a price has been set but all proceeds will go back to the support of the OGT forum...probably gonna do the one Phoenix designed w/o the Blitz as I haven't checked on copyright regs yet on that....if the forum has rights to reproduce it then no problem...will keep everyone posted....we are to start cutting Monday so should be able to purchase by end of week or next...

OK, after a little snag with UPS, the OPELGT.COM stickers are here. there are two sizes 4" and 6", and right now we have green, blue, red, yellow, orange and white. I did not put the white ones in as they won't show up, but, the deal is $6 for two stickers, any combo of color or size. Proceeds, minus Steve's materials and such will go to the site. PM me with your requests and address.
