Synopsis ..

Carlilse 2008 May 16th through the 18th
Largest Opel Meet on the East Coast
(until this September's Nationals in Charlotte I am sure)

Schedule: [US-skedule; CA-shedule]

Friday
Leave Fairgrounds at 12 noon to head to Pottsville
Meet at Yuengling plant for Special Brewery Tour at 2PM
Leave Plant about 3-4 PM
Arrive at Hoss' for Dinner at 5:30 - 6 PM
Commune with other Opel owners over a few Beers 7:30 PM till ???

Saturday
Weber Rebuild - 11AM
Judging starts at 12 Noon
Awards at 3 PM
Raffles after Awards
Auction for Rebuilt Weber (To pay for awards)

Dinner at either Hoss' or Middlesex Diner at 6 PM
Commune with other Opel owners over a few Beers 7:30 PM till ???

I will be bring my 73 Opel GT and yes, I would like to have it judged! I will have at least one and hopefully two people with me. (I'm trying to get Harold Collins to jump in the truck with me when I come up to Carlisle!)

My GTO is as much an Opel as a Bitter CD is an Opel

The Bitter CD was an Opel Diplomat with an custom body and an American V-8 and unlike the Bitter CD, the entire body was made in a GM plant

Wow I think I have more orders for Ts' than last year and Iahvent designed them yet

That said, the artwork for the front will be the same or a modified version ... This is year 13... if anyone wants to start to work on some ideas. If Pheonix doesnt mind I could maybe steal some of the ideas from the charlotte thread
