70's Opeler, back 4 more!

Check out this site for US counts. (It's also been used in several other threads.)
http://clubs.hemmings.com/clubsites/...ch/GTYears.pdf The problem is, now, GT's are being shipped to Europe from here, Australia from here and Europe, and from Europe back over here. So now the location of the production types has been really mixed up. I just talked with a guy a couple of weeks ago that was shipping part of his Manta to New Zealand from the UK. |

The download site is:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html You will have to enter some information, but the product is free. They also have the full blown Acrobat product that has the reader and the distiller, which will allow you to print your own PDF's. But you have to pay for that option. The Reader is Free and anything with the suffix of PDF will need Adobe Reader or other like program to render it for you. |

i now own my first GT, however, i am not really sure exactly what year to list it under. according to build date(12-71) this should classify it as a 72 if i am not mistaken, however, it still retains some of the features of a 71. am still waiting on a title to see exactly how it is registered, maybe that will clear it up a bit.
eric ps: as soon as i get a chance i will get the numbers for you guys to add it to registry if ya want |

Hi!
At the moment I own two GT's, one of '69 and one of '72. The '69 GT is in a good shape and I drive it whenever I can, only in the winter the GT sleeps in the garage. The '72 GT is a parts car and in a bad shape. I also bought other GT's for parts in the last years, but I actually don't know, what happend to them, because I sold them. Bastian |

I owned a canary yellow 73 with the headlights and the lower part of the front valance painted flat black. Was fast, cornered like it was on rails, awsome toons. May it rest in piece :-( Was pasted by a Ford granada in July of 87.

Hey Steven (Opel69...),
Glad to see that you finally registered over here. Sometimes I miss that car especially with the valve cover off the SVO right now. Something you didn't mention is that it used to be british racing green with buckskin interior. Hopefully we'll have it back on the road in a couple weeks (along with the SVO) plus I did a little tribute here for it http://syclone3160.tripod.com/opelgt.html Sean |
