Poll: Add a Facebook Link?

A few members mentioned how they have Facebook accounts and how they were using this social network to connect with others.

How many members have Facebook accounts and should I add a program that will place a link to your Facebook account in your post info? (See attachment)

While not a fan of Facebook and the such but I don't see what harm there would be if there was a link. So if it's easy for you to do I say, sure why not.

I have a 73 gt that I bought in 78 to customize, after spending 2 years it was competed and painted yellow, with side pipes(engine was NOT modified). I 2001 I gave it to my son who stripped it down to bare metal , overhauled the engine to a 2.0, redid the interior, includuing seats from a later gt-- he did not drive it much being in Chicago, so last year I traded him my 98 bmw z3. I just started a site "73 opel gt" w/pictures of it from 80 (yellow) to today (red)......you might want to take a look

I don't really care for Facebook, MySpace, or Twitter but voted YES since this is likely a way to reach out to more people and expand the interest in Opels and bring more people to this site.

I voted 'yes' for this feature, but can definitely see reasons for some folks to not want to have their photos and info made public. Your facebook account can be tailored to not show any personal info to anyone but 'friends'. I have started pasting links to my pix in my posts here on Opel GT dot com so all members of the list can view just the photos I want them to view.
Gary, can this be made a 'participation optional' type of feature via a checkbox on your user cp page ?

Thanks, Rick

As long as it's optional, I don't mind.
I don't put anything on facebook I wouldn't want the public to know.

No thanks

Facebook is really a phenomenon. With 300 million users and about half of them log in every day. Users average 130 friends.

But, I really don't need another place to log into every day.

My Facebook has almost 30 Opel friends. There sure are a lot of people getting on. And I doubt that anyone has as bad of pics on their FB profile as I do and I don't worry about anything.

Tony speaks the truth. I am one of his fb "friends" and he DEFINITELY has bad pics!
