    How Old Are You? #2

It's been 13 years since this Poll was started and I figure that it's time for a refresh to see how things have changed since that time:

Presumably, most of us have gotten older and I want to see how much the owner age dispersal has shifted towards the nursing home years.

I just turned 63 in December. What is great about it is that I don't feel 63. My Mom just turned 98. She always tells us that she doesn't feel 98. So luckily in our family, we just don't feel as old as we are. I'll take it.

Well when I entered my information in the poll, it said that the 61-70 group had 37% of the total. That really means that old guys rule. By the way, I am in the group of 61-70, but next year will be a different story.......71

Having been born in the early 80s come of age in the 00s, I am among the earliest of the "Millennials". Just not quite old enough to be GenX.

I bought an Opel Kadett B around five years ago, though earlier than that I had a perfect time-capsule quality 1981 Isuzu I-Mark LS Diesel (Kadett C) that I regret selling. Trying to recapture the joy of the I-Mark is what got me looking at Opels. And there was an abandoned GT down the street when I was growing up that I always thought looked cool (it's my parts car now!).

The best I can figure is that my mental and physical will never cross paths again. I think they are heading in different directions.

Not a bad amount of 20-30 year olds. I'm 27, and I don't really relate to my generation on so many damn things. My ex-gf / best friend (it's a LONG complicated story) has called me old fashioned, and she grew up on a little farm / winery in Maine. As I get older, so do my tastes. Combine an old timer's beliefs in romance, work, ethics, etc with a young timer's beliefs in social equality and tech abilities, and that's kinda me with a sometimes f-ing asshole side built in. Not sure if that is the old guy in me to blame, or the young guy.

I am just glad I can still slide in under the steering wheel and lie upside down with my feet up over the back of the GT seat and work on the wiring.
