So, I did the little online thingy two days ago (why not?). I got a call last night from a lady at the casting company - Rocket Science Laboratories if you can believe it. I don't think they are going to want to use me for the show, as it seems they are really looking for "Party Animals" - just not me. The lady I talked to was really pretty...well, she didn't seem to be the brightest bulb. I had to keep telling her that the car was in fact an Opel GT, not a Corvette - not a muscle car - seriously, I had to tell her at least three times. Oh well.

Yeah, I had a feeling it was going to wind up being mostly detroit iron. Now if it was a balls-to-the-wall coast-to-coast rally, a small car with great gas mileage stands an excellent chance of outdistancing the musclecar competitors. With the event broken into stages to allow for nighttime partying, this event seems geared more towards television shananigans than actual rallying. Too bad.
