Well at my track the rules are at Home for all to see. Only problem is nobody dares to enforce them, might piss somebody off and they won't race there anymore. So it gets kind of interesting, it's all about cheating if you want to do well. I'm not into that any more, once was enough.
Anyway, we don't have a list of all the racing deaths there, since we haven't had any. Some medical disasters have happened, we lost a Legends racer just last summer to a heart attack in the pits. Kind of ruined our racing evening.
NASCAR just isn't what it used to be for some reason. I used to be a huge fan of it, but can't stay awake through a race anymore!

Nascar

Same way here, nascar is just plain ole boring to me now. I like watching the sprint cars, funny cars, 4x4 racing, pinks, heck even the motocross or old monster jams are pretty sweet.

Jeff, I'm sure you remember the phrase, "Race on Sunday, Sell on Monday". That's when NASCAR used to race honest to goodness "stock" cars. But today, even with all the safety requirements, you cannot go to the showroom floor and buy what you saw racing. Just how many of those cars are FWD? When that's all there is in the showroom. How many cars come stock with a fully tubular chassis. And, how many have fiberglass bodies? Stock car racing, it isn't anymore!!!

One of the things I like about the direction Pontiac is taking is a return to RWD. My next sedan is going to be a G8 in part because it is a RWD sporty car that can also get the family around town. As far as NASCAR, I've never been a fan - it's downright boring (IMHO). The only reason I know anything about it is because my wife met Greg Biffle many years ago so we check to see how he is doing now and then. I did like the cool figure-eight track races they used to run (I recall watching them when I was kid). Lots more crashes that way!

Before I move on to another world ..I would like to be behind the steering wheel of a 700+ alky burning sprint car. If I die before I wake strap my sorry butt on the rear wing so that I can feel the left front tire off of the ground. dirt only please
