I posted one of my qualifying runs on you tube if anyone is interested. This was the cars first event at PIR and only it's second event since being rebuilt in 2002-2004. I qualified second in ITB. The car was down in power to the rest of the ITB cars but it was on rails and I had better exit speed allowing me to draft down the front and back stretches. During the race I moved into first place in ITB but I had to pull off due to overheating problems. Cooling system improvements are underway...

Damn you are just nailing those apex's great driving.

Reminds me of pursuit driving at work. Don't need to be first, just a close second.

Running Code 3 to a call, now that's just plain fun.

Thank you for the compliment. I have a ton of experience at PIR and instruct there on a regular basis. Once I get dialed in I am typycaly within a few tenths on each lap. With the Opel it was my first weekend here and I improved over 1.5 seconds over the weekend. it may sound like a lot, but I am sure i can make up at least another .5 seconds without any performance changes to the car.

However two Mustangs, a Pinto, and a Capri were hospitalized. One Mustang was euthanized the next morning.
