pics of the opel gt mod mini

hey guys. i just added some pics of my dads ModMini GT build to my photo albumn and to the racing photos section.
also a pic of my corolla mod mini. my dad who's opel is in the pictures built and set up my car so i think this Gt will be something to fear.

But, coilovers are illegal...

coilovers are legal. but had move the engine ahead 8 inchs to be legal. My kadett the engine was set back 8 inchs. number 1 spark plug is 3 inchs back from the spendle line. there is a 1 pound per cc rule to {1900} 1900 pounds up to 2600 cc.2600 pound car.2600 max.

this website has links to the tracks where we race and to the rules. most all northern nevada tracks use the same rules for the modified four cylinder cars.

Bummer you had to move the engine. Engine location was truly reason number one we had the GT pegged as having an advantage over Pintos. (Our rules require stock engine location and mounting.) Well, the coil rear springs were a factor, too.
Man, if we could run coilovers the front suspension would be awesome!

But, coilovers are illegal... __________________ No Opels were harmed in the filming of this movie. However two Mustangs, a Pinto, and a Capri were hospitalized. One Mustang was euthanized the next morning.
