Unanswered: tuning question

Before I start asking any questions I'm going to try and give ya'll pertinent info.
No this is not an Opel but I'm using the learned knowledge for my GT. but the car is in the same corporation :-)

SBC dart block stroker
C/R 12.5:1 with a small centrifugal blower(blow thru) 8 psi before carb 5 after.
Two stage nitrous 150 first(wet fogger installed after the compressor) 250 second(wet
plate under the carb)
Spark retard MSD module 2 degrees first step 4 degrees second no timer
Dual fuel cells with three boost fuel regulators
Carb regulator boost reference is from the hat
First stage is also under the hat
Second stage gets its signal from under the carb base

So we started tuning one stage at a time. I must say that I’m very impressed with the fogger first stage. I believe its because of the cooling effect on the air temps.
The second even though it’s bigger just didn’t impress me that much. Almost the same power output.

Anyway we hit both tonight at the same time for the first time….humm I was expecting more power.

With the info provided is there any ideas of where I messed up ?

Cam choice? You're cramming extra air into the engine under pressure (boost). You're cramming extra oxygen and fuel into it with nitrous. Now you have to let it out. Lots more exhaust duration, or not? Much bigger exhaust than normal?

Just a thought...

Update

We've had two weeks off to work on the car. Tomorrow night is double points with some special people expected to show up(four cars) wanting to crash our party.

Did some maintenance work and found all the intake valves very tight. Rerouted some vac. lines,...

So today we trashed the car hard all day today. The funny thing is H/P rating of the systems is welllllll a misnomer. Yeah it made more H/P but nothing like the MAJOR increase in torque.

I believe were close to ready for Friday night and the onslaught. Wish us luck.
