Unanswered: 60 foot times

I was wondering what is the 60 foot time of a stock GT?
Both the early models and late, manual and auto.

Ok I no nothing about drag racing but I didn't know 60' was something that was looked at. Like 1/4 mile or 0-60. What are the speed numbers that you judge performance by?

I think the old C&D test review of the gt might have had 60' times.

. . . "60' times" weren't measured in drag racing until about 9-10 years ago (about when import FWD racing began catching on), with start reaction times a number of years before that . . . IMS.

In the back of my mind(where there's cob webs) I was hoping for a 2.0 60 ft.
After comparing "like" year and models it looks like 2.7 is a fair number.
What do ya'll think? Fair number for a stock 4 speed 1.9?

If its a "stock" low compression 1.9......its probably close. Might even be more like 3 seconds....The first gear is just about useless and you'd be in mid shift into second by the 60 foot mark slowing you down even more.
