I just got back home from a long weekend in Birmingham, Alabama, visiting the wife's sister. On Saturday, my brother-in-law took me to see the Barber Motorsports track and museum. The track was being rented by a motorcycle racing school, so we didn't have access to see it all, just parts of it. Picture if some took a beautifull golf country club and built a road race course on it. This place is unbelievable.....yard art and statues everywhere.

So we go to the museum....there were 450 motorcycles there and maybe 50 cars, mostly Lotus, including several formula cars. There were many racing bikes and vintage bikes going back to the very first ones. Any brand you can think of, and many more that you never heard of from many countries. They said the collection is almost 900 bikes. It was a sensory overload!

Okay, I know I must make this Opel related, so maybe one day I'll get to drive the GT there for a vintage day!
