GT Meet Video - Speyer
I can copy the whole thing to DVD, but was wondering if anyone on the site would have an interest and know-how to edit it into something the members would like to have. I'd like to remove the the personal bits out of it. I'm sure our European friends would recognize many of the cars and faces.

I can recommend some good software. Vegas is a great program for editing video. It comes in a professional version for way too much money and then a home edition that is resonable. Avoid Pinnicle at all costs. It will crash every time you use it and then it will jump out of the monitor and try to eat your cat or dog.

Any Mac will come out of the box with perfectly adequate editing tools.
I'll gladly edit it for you if you'd like me too. PM me or email if so. I could also throw it up on a web server for that matter....don't know about all 3 hours or not but a condensed version would be cool.

GT video
I have downloaded lots of VHS to PC with connections thru D8 camera then edited with Adobe Elements with usually improved video burned to DVD. Best quality if kept to about 1 hr per disk, so can be made in 2 parts. AE is less than $100 u.s. Willing to help or would like copy of DVD you make. Roy

Nope - Never did. I can see if I can simply record it from my VCR on my DVD recorder. I'll look at it this week.

armchair travel
I also recomend videos from OGTS, have 4 of them; GT treffen 95, 96-97-99, 2002, & (this week) 99-2000, all good! My only trip to Europe (so far) was before opel ownership, so always eager to view others video impressions.
