Old show car
Damn, where were you 3 years ago? Lots of mods for modifiers. Maybe too much for the purists. $5k Wes |

Third time around for this one. It didn't go for $4550 or so last couple times.
Looks like he wants it gone. Seems to be quite a bit of car for $5K. I don't care for the rear bumper, is that off a Datsun? Decent car it appears, someone should snap it up.

I think he's going to have to find just the right person that all those mods agree with - especially the interior. Why the need for 108 octane fuel?

Its definately a good car. The interior is a little dated and obvisouly the exterior will need some freshening up. The mods are a great bonus and as long as the resto was not superficial, it's a good car even at 5K. I believe that the seller was very ambitious when it was first listed and was expecting to make a whole lot of money off of a car that is both for a small market and a in need of restoration. Would anyone really pay 20K back in the 80s even if it were a true custom?

Definitely a hard sell, with the modifications done. But if the seller finds the right person................
I can appreciate many of the mods. but some have me wondering. Question: I wonder if the rear bumper is of a Datsun 280Z? Dennis |

The inlay wood work is very unique and must have taken a lot of time. I'm not sure what the dash is made of. It kind of looks like some kind of felt under the vinyl dash mat. For me, the engine would be the selling point! But, I'm just not the right person for this one. Jerry

i agree with dennisgardiner. some of the mods are good, but others questionable. I really don't like the extra bubble on the hood, it looks odd, and the rear bumper needs to be put back to stock, and the interior is not my taste. looks pretty clean though.
