http://members.aol.com/opelgtclub/modelle1.html p.s. I spent about an hour looking through and comparing different models. Good luck. I Think that GT-Freak might be most interested in these... http://members.aol.com/chrissiewert/amt.jpg Here is one for DESTEC and the rest of the Aero fans http://members.aol.com/chrissiewert/swiss.jpg

There is one of the REX Aero GT's (1/12 scale) on the German EBAY right now. I have one of the Nakamura 1/20 scale plastic kits and a case (6) of the AMT1/25 plastic Kits, and two of the original issues (1/25) and one of the Revell (1/32) scale plastic kits, as well as the Minichamps blue and yellow 1/18 scale diecast, and scores of the Herpa, IMU, and Wiking HO scales.

Anyone out there with an extra Blue Minichamps Opel GT they are willing to sell? The only stores I saw with that model in stock were European websites. I may wind up placing an order from one of those sites, but I would rather buy from within the US... or maybe from one of this site's non-USA visitors.

There is also an N scale car carrier with nothing but GT,s on it. I have asked one person in Germany to sell. I found out laughter is universal. He didn't even say no, just sent back HA HA. It was made by Minitrix.

Is the M chassis 1/10 scale? I have a 4-TEC nitro sedan and finally bought a Opel Calibra body after searching extensively for a GT. I'll post pics as soon as that makes it way up the project queue.

Anyone out there have a source on those resin kits, that show up on the German Ebay every now and then? Like the one in link below. I'm looking for a Ascona A 2dr Sedan (limo) and a Wagon (voyage) and the Manta A series. All these are in 1/25 scale.

Old Hippie;
Revell made a 1/32nd scale GT. AMT did the 1/25th scale of the GT. I have several original issues of the AMT kit, and the recent re-issue of it. I also have one of OGTS's AMT kits. There was a 1/20th Nakamura kit that was highly detailed. It's VERY rare.

Oh Boy, I'm special. I scanned through that entire ebay listing looking for the description, yeah I'm talking about the listing on the german ebay. When I couldn't find it I started to get a little miffed, then realized that all those words that I don't understand are another language.
Some day I'll learn, some day.

The German word for model is "bausatz" but, this is for the type of model you assemble. Like the one in the link below. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...e=STRK:MEWA:IT

HO scale Opel GT
Bichler Racing Austria has an Opel GT and a convertible Opel GT which are mounted to an Aurora TJet chassis. You can find some of them at www.hoslotcars.com .

Now I am going to have to inventory and document all my Manta A models.... BTW, http://members.aol.com/opelgtclub/modelle1.html is a freind of mine Rolf Ewert. He does have about every Opel GT model ever made and was my "dealer", back a few years ago when I had a GT. When I finally realized it was futile and too expensive to finish the collection, I sold what I had piece by piece on Ebay to get some money to play with my real Opels. But as these urges go.. they return with a vengence. So I limited myself to Manta A collectibles only. Of which I think I have an almost complete collection. I am missing a few of the new Schucos though, and the 1/24th resin kits. I do have one of the limited 1/24th Manta resin kits (a TE2800 to be exact), but currently Gene (BQS) is building it for me. I also have been collecting a lot of ADs, brochures, etc.. for the Manta as well. Maybe a Collectible Paper forum as well.. to compare Ads, etc.. On second though never mind.. I would have to inventory all those as well if you did that
