Wood's nice, but do you all remember this guy?

www.weberprecision.com

Someone here posted it last year and I just had to save it.
Way too cool, and sound also.

Gee, I can't even finish a small project...

I don't know if this is the same guy, but some years ago at the at the NAMBA National model boat races here inSANe DIEGO, A guy showed up with a working 1/8 scale model SBC. He did it all by shrinking down each part to 1/8 size then produced them on a CNC machine. Unreal running, it was very smooth with no vibes at all. Cost at the time was around 10K per copy. Instead of spark plugs, he used model engine glow plugs and fuel with about 10% nitro. Now if I had the coins and could figure out a way to put it in one of my boats.

This one puts everything else to shame.

18 cylinder, opposed piston, 3 bank Deltic engine with 36 pistons, 3 crankshafts and turbocharged to boot. All in miniature.

Clen Tomlinson's 18-cylinder Deltic

Even in miniature, probably more hp than a Kia.
