    ATS wheels

    Hi everyone,
Looking to buy ATS Classic wheels. Do they have same hole spacing as
    say Volkswagen ?

I don't know about all VWs, but, the older ones I think were 4X100mm. There's always a set or two of ATS wheels on the German Ebay. I have one set of 13X6, and I like the look.

    Thanks,
As this is my first GT what width would you recommend 6, 7 or 8",
or maybe smaller the front and larger rear (without being silly) ?

These guys import the ATS classic wheels in 13x7 and 13x8. Tire size and related availability will determine wheel width.

I don't go for the "smaller" up front and "bigger" rear. I like the same size all around so as to be able to rotate the tires for even wear, but, this is just mu opinion. As for size, if it's for a GT, you can go with a 7" wide, but, for a Manta/Ascona, I'd go with a 6" wide

    Tricky Question ....

    Poor little pregnant roller skates!
GTs already get loose without putting different width tyres front and back!
Tyre/wheel total weight is one of the major considerations - more unsprung weight = worse handling and ride.

It is an interesting world as we are all individuals united by (Opel) madness.
    Thanks for your input.

I think Jarrell was asking which vehicle they were originally fitted to.
As far as I can recall the bigger sizes of ATS classics were not OEM, but aftermarket only.

Don't know were they originally made for, but I do know they hadn't 7x15 anymore. Thats the reason I've 7x13 on the front (and 9x15 on the rear.)
