Put the car up on jackstands,and support the diff. with a floor jack. (1) diconnect the driveshaft from the transmission to the torque tube(2) disconnect the parking brake cable at the ajustment rod(3) unbolt the torque tube crossmember from the bottom of the car and support it level with the floor with a jackstand(4)disconnect the tracking bar from the bracket on the body(5) disconnect the shock bottoms from the rearend housing(6) disconnect the brake line at the hose and screw an old piece of brake line with the tube flattened into the hose to keep it from leaking fluid(7) disconnect the trail arms from the rear end housing and pivot them down out of the way. Now the rearend is ready to come out from under the car with the wheels and tires removed support the torque tube and roll the rearend out from under the car(two person job).


but i'm looking for a way to remove the whole rear axle.
