    1/2 GT, 1/2 Vette

    Make you're own mind up.....

    eBay: 1/2 Corvette - 1/2 Opel GT Traum oder Wirklichkeit ? (Artikel 4607963159 endet 09.03.07 09:30:00 MEZ)

I remember seeing it at the Belgium Euro Meet back in '99, 'The Conrero Special Show' and couldn't quite belive my eyes, certainly a great deal of work.

This is a model? It looks real to me. Whatever, it is a bit unusual.
We certainly don't knock anybody's car here, while I personally think somebody got a little carried away on this one, I have to commend them for their imagination and handiwork! This was a lot of work, be it a real car or a plastic model.
    So, where's the engine photo? It's a V8?
If it really is a model, the photography is incredible, too!
I have to keep going through the photos. I think it's a real car. Why is it in the Scale Model Forum? You're messing with me.

I am positive that this is the quite.....different looking gt that can be found in the photo gallery (my real thoughts of it are commented with the picture) It looks like is shed a couple spoilers in between the photos were taken in the gallery and when it was posted on ebay.

Jeff, I actually saw this car in Belgium. It's full size and had it's own marquee for the display. It runs and drives, but did come on a trailer......maybe it doesn't go round corners.

The interesting part is that this was a U.S. spec GT. Note the rear side marker lights. Was the final product made here and then shipped over or made there? Interesting car, not my style though.
