    Oil Cap-after market?

What is a good after market oil cap that fits onto a GT valve cover?
Polished aluminum would look good or maybe even black to contrast with the polished cover.

The one I have that's in good shape says "oil" on it in German and looks nice, but it's a bit hard on the valve cover. The steel fins on the under side fit a bit too tightly on the cover and it tends to actually shave little bits of aluminum off when it's tightened.

I have an old original one but it doesn't look to good.

If you have a spare gas cap, they work too, or you can match up a gas cap to a new oil cap and viola, you have a modern cap. HTH

    oil cap

using a locking gas cap you could lock your oil in and not have any more oil leaks.

I would certainly hope that it is more than one, unless they had been machined out of solid gold, then I would want a weight before commiting to buy

I like the yellow one too. It looks cool and matches my paint job. Looks like this one:

eBay: BN Replacement Vauxhall & Opel Engine Oil Filler Cap (item 120117152176 end time May-13-07 15:02:29 PDT)

Polished cap from OGTS is $18, this looks about the same cost w/shipping, you'll find them cheaper domestically on ebay from time to time too.
