Looks awesome John. Dry and dusty is an understatement, huh?

Well, I took the Manta down to Birmingham for a SCCA RallyCross a couple weeks ago and had a lot of fun. Running a few tanks of gas through it apparently solved the fuel issue- I guess despite pulling the tank, new lines, carb re-build, and some other efforts there was still a tiny bit of trash in the system somewhere. It ran great all day, in suffering heat, being thrashed hard by myself and a friend (who is now hooked bad on RallyCross)
Anyway, thought you guys and gals might enjoy a couple pics: (you'll have to suffer through some Subaru pictures haha.)

We didn't know it was rally cross, my son has been thrashing a Datsun for years on a course he made on our property. That looked like a bunch of fun.
I've got a friend that does it here as well, he's also hooked on it, drives a silver (I think) WRX. If my Caliber ever makes it to where I consider it old enough to beat on and I can lighten it up enough, I might join you guys. The CVT has got to go first me thinks. Anybody see the Caliber Rallye concept?

I didn't know you were on this board John.Hey, it's good to see the Manta running so well now. I'll have to get a better look at it at your next rallycross. If it's the same site that you usually go to off of Greenbriar, I don't live too far from there. You can bring it by and see my GT being reassembled and have a cold one to rinse out the dust.
And I'm outside of Madison, AL Opel Kid. Another Bama Opeler.![]()
Wendell, John's Manta is currently resting at my place.
