    The car looks great but the tire and wheel combo takes away from the body lines and makes the car look unfinished . Hope they let you do something to correct this .
    Good Luck with your project .

    Keith;
    I have held my opinion till you got a set of different wheels on it, and the difference is like night and day. With the black wheels, the car is too ordinary, and it makes me think of a "ricer" on the cheap. With the chrome wheels, it definitely POPS! It screams... "LOOK AT ME!!!" and definitely makes you want to look further at all the details of the car.

    Those wheels are the what was needed to draw the eye to the body lines and make the car look " Like Movement is about to take place "

    Keith, the wheels are what really sets the car off. What you have done is to make a car that is not going to get lost in a crowd, not that it happens anyway. But, it's going to turn heads just sitting there. The black wheels just ain't gonna do it, but, this is just my opinion

    I like black wheels with a polished rim! The car and black wheels look better in person BUT if it were MY car I think I would be sick that I didn't follow his advice.

    Guess I'll be contrary and say I've seen yellow cars with black wheels and
    like the look. Like Harold, I bet it looks better outside in the sun and in person.

    I'm not in to slammed cars but this one's looks IMHO would be improved by lowering just as you suggested. It is my understanding the owner has a pretty harsh transition from road to his driveway which dictates that the car remain at or near stock level if he wants the front air dam to survive intact.

    Great Job!

    Nice work Keith! I can't believe two years have gone by so quickly - although it probably seems a lot longer to you! I think the car turned out great. The owner even snagged the "OPEL GT" vanity plate for the state of Oklahoma - what luck . Will he be joining the site here now?

    I do have one question: once the car is warmed up, what is the typical reading on the Oil TEMP gauge? Just curious as I still haven't found time to install mine but it would be good to know in advance what a typical reading for that gauge should be.

    Congratulations!

    Oil temp gauge is slow to climb, but if I remeber correctly it was about at the 3rd bar which is 100celcius. I do not like the sensor that comes with it. I've had a problem with it leaking there, and couldn't get it to seal properly. So you might have an issue here. It comes with a copper washer, but doesn't seem to help much.

    That is unfortunate about the sensor. I have no leaks at present and would like to keep it that way. I wonder if an alternate sensor is available? Hopefully I'll get to the install before the end of October ...
