Well my opel is not near where I live and I was wondering if anyone knew what was the bolt pattern on a 69 GT... and if there is any other brands (honda, toyota, etc...) that fit? thanks.

isnt that the same as the 280zx rims

That is 4 studs centred on a circle 100 millimeters in diameter.
The same as lots of Hondas, Nissans, Subarus, and Mitzis - but front wheel drive wheels have more 'offset' and need spacers to move them out ot fit in the proper position.

thats good to know. the guy i bought my opel from has to big of tires and rims and so when i turn or really do a u turn they rub and you can hear it so i was wondering so i can go out and buy the right size tire. btw what is the right size tire for an opel

The stock GT tire was 165/SR-13 (about a 75 series tire). A very common fitment is a 185/70R-13 (virtually no speedo error). Bigger tires and rims are often used (such as a 205/60R-13 or even a 205/50R-15); the usual advice is to adjust the aspect ratio to make the outside diameter the same, so as to avoid speedo error and such. Wider tires might handle better, but there are trade-offs in ride, interference and mileage. MUCH more discussion is available within this Forum, where I moved this thread.

I found that 13 inch Goodyear Eagle slicks work really awesome especially if the ones on the right side are lots bigger than the ones on the left. They only rub when we get too close to a Mustang, then all hell breaks loose, they (traffic behind us) tell me. IDK, I just keep going. Let them (traffic behind us) deal with it.

Opel GTs had tiny wheels and tyres from the factory - radial tyres were quite 'new' back in 1969-73 and the small radial tyres gave much better grip than the conventional cross-ply tyres used up till that time. They also give a very good smooth ride because the tall rubber sidewalls flexed and acted as part of the suspension.

There are huge debates on be found on this site (with the Search function) about replacement modern 14/15/16/17/18 inch tyre sizes and wheels !!

Thanks for alot of the info I have found here on this site its very appreciated. its a tremendous help. Since being new to the whole Opel world and Female trying to work on a car at that. I do image so that I and cars don't get along but none the less, I do know how to fix them by the time I've had them for a month. Which I do believe is a good thing. Any who any one know where to find some really neat looking rims for an Opel like mine. These snowflake rims i have, have just got to go. They don't match at all.

Most 4x100 rims will fit, but depending on the offset, you will probably need spacers. People are either with them or against them. IMO, as long as you aren't doing any dangerous driving, like super tight corners, you should be fine. With a larger diameter, remember you will have to go with a lower profile tire or like in your case, rubbing will occur.
