    vacuum

    hey everyone i'm new to the opel when i apply the brake my idle fluctuates is this a vacuum leak in booster?

    that, or you have a leak at one of the connections in the booster line.

    Your symptoms are typical of a leaky booster. But, also check the hose from the booster to the intake because they end up leaking eventually. And, you won't be able to see the leaks. One easy way to test the booster hose is to plug the end of the hose at the intake and apply air pressure at the booster end. If you lose pressure , you have a bad hose. Congrats on your new GT/project.

    thank you for your help was going to post pics but screwed my camera up in iraq just another thing to replace
