No turn signals on my Manta

I am prepping the 74 Manta I bought last month to drive to Carlisle and was doing a walk around of the car and noticed I have no turn signals. This is actually the first I have looked at the car since I bought it.

I read some threads on the same topic but they all seemed GT related so I was looking for anything different on the Manta. The hazard/4-way flashers work, the switch is hard to get them to turn off, I have to keep depressing it until it releases. Since the hazards work I no it isn't a ground problem at the lights.

I know I can still stick my left arm out the window to signal if I have to!!!!

Todd I was thinking that that might be the problem, where do I get one for the Manta?

Best bet is to put out a call to others coming to Carlisle. Check out the parts thread for Carlisle. Perhaps someone will have a spare they could sell you.

Shouldn't be the problem the hazards work.

OK, DAQ (dumb-ass-question) time... Are the hazards the same lamps as the turn signals on a Manta? I think they are different on my Ascona.

Here is my question, I am looking at a wiring diagram and am trying to figure out something. I switched the two flashers and the turnsignals work and I replace the fuse on the one flasher at the same time. I can't remember which flasher goes where, they are the same except for the fuse.
I am pretty sure I got them in switched around

    BUT

Now the turn signals and hazards both work. Also the horn works, high beams. Trying to figure out the wiring diagram.

    Dave,
The OEM turn signal/hazard flasher is a black rectangular box. I don't think you can swap that with the dimmer relay, which is fused I believe.
