There is a C-clip which holds the plastic parts up against the firewall piece and takes the slack out of the clutch pedal. That donut clap is not supposed to be there. You need the c-clip but can get by with a hose clamp. Some people use the hose clamp as a fail safe anyway.


. I check under the car to see if the cable came loose, and It didn't. I pop the hood of the car and I see this. It seems like washers and a cable faster hold the clutch cable to the firewall, But I can't figure out how to put the thing back together. The cable (now) is loose and the clutch don't work! Is there supposed to be a bolt here or sumthin? Cuz where you see in pic 1 If I fasten it there on the black part of the cable, its not tight enough. But it don't fit over the metal part.
