The dash panel contains the flasher part of the turn signals. The little silver cylinder or black retangular part you had to unplug on the drivers side of the panel near the hidden screw near the heater controls.

Is your steering column hanging or did you reattach it? If it isn't grounded the turn signal lever doesn't work very well either.

I would recommend you get in touch with JJ Wheatley for a copy of his DESTEC wiring schematic. The copy is larger and easier to read than the factory sevice manual. JJ's diagram is his own design and is laminated so it's pretty durable. Sometimes he offers them on eBay or you can buy direct. jjwheatley2003@yahoo.com Unfortunately he only offers them for GT's.

In reading your first post, when the key is in the start position, only the starter will work, nothing else. With the key in the off position, nothing will work, either. Only in the run position will the turn signals work. If the flasher is removed, the turn signals will not work, and if the ground wire is removed for the steering column, to drop it, you lose one of the main grounds for the entire dash. The other ground is on one of the bolts holding the fuse panel in place. HTH.

Not sure what you are trying to accomplish here. Do you want to be able to drive the car with the dash removed? If the dash is out you will need to either wire in the amp gauge or at least connect the two wires (red & red/white), as for the turn signals to work is going to take more ingenuity.

Add you're own ground strap if the one on the steering column is missing. I've simply clamped one on with vice grip pliers while the column was hanging down for testing purposes.

    Sorry for my english.
I may have run into a similar problem. The previous owner (PO) had cut up a dash for a radio installation and changed some of the wiring. Everything worked okay until I put an unmodified instrument panel in. I had to go through and change out the wiring because almost nothing worked properly after that. A good wiring diagram is a MUST have in your case whether it is a DESTEC or a factory service manual. You'll be able to tell if anything was changed with the aid of a good diagram.

Don't worry about your english, at least you have an excuse!

    ok
this morning i try to connect the original panel and everything work
except turn lights and windshield wiper motor i think last owner change the ignition switch
I suppose that the column of the steering does not have current

Like Harold said....JJ's (DESTEC) wiring diagram almost makes your problem fun...OK not fun but a whole lot less frustrating

It should be a standard issue with all GT's
