    Manta fuse block issue

The 2 left most fuses of my 74 Manta are getting no power at all...the fuses are good but the tester isn't picking up any juice above or below the fuses. Where would you begin on this problem?

    Gordy,

Fuses 1 and 2 are jumpered and both get power from the main light switch to provide power to front marker and rear tail and marker lights respectively. They also power the dash lights and lighter/shifter lights. You won't see 12 volts at these fuses unless the light switch is at least half way out.

If your tail and marker lights aren't working, check to see if you're getting 12v to the light switch and if the gray/red wire coming from the switch gets power when you turn it on.

Very good explanation. All the lights are working and I thought it odd that there was no juice there. I did not check it with the light switch in the on position. Learn something new everyday. Thanks, Gordy
