How to use an industrial paint sprayer?

I'm starting a job painting the outside of a building its metal. I’ve used a inside paint sprayer for room. I was wondering if its used the same like priming, cleaning and how far to stand away from the building?

While this is an Opel site, I'm sure there is someone here can give you an answer. I am not a painter but Industrial sprayers have higher pressures than the indoor type you are talking about and they usually feed from a 5 gallon of 25 gallon container. As far how far you standing back from the building I think two factors come into play (1) how hard and from which direction is the wind blowing and (2) I would start by standing far enough back to get the paint on the building and not on me.

    hi,
if it is a truly industrial sprayer, you will have some differences ,you will have to prime it a little longer, cleaning is the same, how far you stand from the building is relative to tip size, if there are nearby buildings very close ,use a smaller tip and stand closer to avoid the overspray, if you are clear of nearby buildings, then you can stand just as you would on the inside, if you think you are standing too close and have to spray too fast to avoid sags/runs turn the pressure down on the sprayer to Exterior Painting NJ and find a comfortable distance for you to work effectively from, the pressure will be a lot higher than you are used to ,our Industrial Painting NJ sprayers if run wide open at full pressure and empty a 55 gallon drum of paint in approx 30 minutes.

As has been reported, this thread looks suspiciously like spam, as it is totally unrelated to Opels, and appears to be "Asked and Answered" by two "members" as their one and only post. Unless convinced otherwise, this thread will be binned, and the author(s) demoted to spam purgatory

Well I'll be hornswaggled. Good catch, Keith. What a great way to spam. I'd have never thought of that. Good thing I'm not in the spam business.

Oh, so I am in the spam business. But, it's Opel related, how do you think we keep a roof over an idle race car?
