Without pictures, it's hard to tell. One man's "good" condition may not be the same for another. As for the trans, if you're not mechanically good at rebuilding 4-spds, then just buy a 4-spd from a 1.9 or 1900. Just about every member should have 2-3, so they're cheap, and just swap it out with a new clutch to boot!![]()

) The cyl. head is a good cheap fix for a low compression engine (with 1900 valves) and you may be able to make a swap to someone that wants to make that modification to their low compression car. Those engines were only brought to the US that one year (1968) and are kinda hard to find. Also if you make the swap don't use the 1500 carb as the fuel inlet is smaller than the 1900, of course if it has been sitting up that long now is a good time to upgrade it with a Weber 32/36.
