    How Bad is it?

Ok day one of actually working on it. took lots of pictures. link is at the bottom. What i want to know from what you experts can see is how bad is it. now the "area" its at now,(my parents back yard) isnt where its staying. Making plans to move it in the next weekend or two to move it to a buds house a few block from another buds shop. so everything i will need will be at my disposal. Now as much as i would love to strip it and redo everything from scratch, i cant find my self doing it with this car. So i want to fix what needs to be fix make it look good, and then sell it. im guessing what im asking for is someone to help me make a list of what all needs to be done to make that happen by the end of this year. you can reply to this thread or pm me or even email me @ cody2004"at"gatorworks.com
    Thanks.

from what i see the car looks solid.
there's some rust on it but what gt doesn't have rust before restoration.
your main problem is the rear with the big dent. you might be able to pull up on the dent some and get most of it out and then bondoe the rest of it. or if you didn't want to go that way you could buy a parts car and cut the section out of the parts car, cut the bad spot out of your car and weld the good piece in .

motor looks nice and clean, does it run?
as for a list for things you would need...it's hard to tell you would have to tell us what's all messed up

    Dear 'YoungOpel1971'

You definitely have some rust issues, but most are not too bad.

The most difficult part will be in welding in a donor passenger fender from another Opel GT.

Otherwise, the GT looks about in the same shape as my first GT.

All be it....my GT was bashed in much worse.

Drifting: dorifuto sōkō, a motor sport where the driver intentionally oversteers, causing loss of traction in the rear wheels through turns, while preserving vehicle control.

If the 67 stang is SOLID.... I'd be all over it! Not sure what part of the country your from, but here in the rust belt, just about any classic car will have "hidden" expenses once you get it back down to metal.
As far as a price for the GT, try to re-coup what you have into it.....there are ALOT of GT's in that condition so dont expect alot of $$$$$.

    Good luck!

yea the 67 has been completely sand blasted and stripped. the 750 is for the body and possible engine and tranny, but i think its a 4 banger and im not worried bout that cause i have a 351 that me and a bud has been working on that will slide in there nicely .... shoot id let the opel go for 750, so i can go get the coupe, the opel runs, needs new tires, and well you can tell what else it needs from the pictures..any see this and want it, email me.
