    Dual Weber tip

For those not used to dual Webers I have found they need frequent tightening and checking of nuts. So far in 1000 miles I have shed several nuts. Last night the one of the fuel fitting nuts came loose and sprayed gas all over the side of the carb and then dripped down onto the header. Had the engine not of been cold as I had only gone a couple of thousand yards and I had not shut it down quickly when the engine began to sputter it might have been a real disaster. Every two weeks or so it is a good idea to check that everything is snug.

Yea, thanks. I'll hopefully be ready to fire my dual Weber setup in about a month. I'm ready to do regular "preflights" on the engine (carbs especially) before every drive. A fire exstinguisher will be nearby and in the car.

if you shed nuts did you use the thackery washers (a triple wound spring washer ) they are what weber recomend because of the vibration

as for the fuel union use new fiber washers each time you loosen a banjo fitting
