    Hey everyone...I'm really not a newbie...I've been a member since '02!!!
    Just been MIA for the last....oh.... 6 years or so. Man, this site has changed! I joined so I could hopefully find an (affordable??) OPEL for sale near my local. Unfortunately...still don't own one, but always look'n!!!
    Anyways...first car!!! bought with my own cash ($ 650.00 paper route $$)... Fuel injected, Signal Yellow, '75 Opel Manta. Sporty little bugger. Used to cruise hwy 100 in West Allis, Kraco speakers and all. Had all the chicks want'n a ride.

    Cool site....Thanks Gary for (Re) hooking me up!
    Man...w/ the $ on the GT's now a days...can't see myself ever owning one

    Check craigs list, there are a bunch of Opels on it now. Many are less than $1000. They need work, but hey that point is to own one, right? Then you build it how you want it.
    Arguing online is the same as racing in the Special Olympics;
    no matter who wins, you're both still retarded.

    Where in GA did you move to? There's a large group of us here. Post some pictures of the Manta

    Opelwasp, Good idea about craigslist...found a couple somewhat close. Too much for me to spend at the moment. Actually, I'm currently in the market for a small SUV (the family car). Our Chevy Venture well....need I say more.

    Gene, First Mtn City (Jasper...I think that's what the water tower says???). When I get more time, I'll try to dig up some info. on the clubs down here. That's really cool to see a lot of interest in Opels here in Ga. Sounds promising for a future, rust-free, investment. Since I've been here, I only saw one GT on 575 in Woodstock.
    Photo maybe hard to obtain. Last I looked, I only found one photo...and that's 850 miles north, at the folk's house. I'll try to get my mom to find and mail down.

    Thanks for the feedback guys!

    Eric;
    You're up there by Dan & Ging White, in Adairsville, Steven Goines, in Blairsville, Edwin Monsees and Juan Blanco in Kennesaw/Acworth. I'm east of Atlanta, out Hwy 78 past Stone Mountain, going towards Athens. Snellville.
